I have a new theory.
A tube of toothpaste can in fact never be fully emptied. There is always one more squeeze of paste left.
It's just that, in the end, we all give up and throw the ugly, twisted thing away.
I know I'm an optimist this morning, but perhaps, the everlasting paste could be recycled and the world could be saved with less effort than previously enviseaged.
