My Macbook is getting crookier and crookier.
Took it down to Brighton's new Mac miracle centre - having made an appointment yesterday.
"Oh, yes," said the engineer. They sold us a new Leopard Operating system, price £83. It took three hours to install.
Now the Macbook is even slower. Performing much worse. Now it takes about 15 minutes to post a Comment - and then it does it twice. My fingers get way ahead of the letters on screen. Life is now no more than watching the coloured wheel.
I will have to spend tomorrow charming them to look at it without an appointment. Do you know, I have other things to do?
Patience is a virtue.

I swore by Mac up until about a year ago when my MacBook started to do all sorts of weird things.
That's the thing with computers when they work....they are superb - when they don't - they try the patience of a million saints, and I am definitely not saint!
