2. At last, after months of endeavour, this morning I have a cleaner. She began 3 and a half hours ago, and hasn't yet walked out. Plus 5 definitely.
3. A second 'we want what you don't want' clearance co-operative came round yesterday and deemed 95% of my unwanted but perfectly good unwanted items unsuitable. They were called SHABITAT, and clearly my rejected stuff was neither tat or shabby. I was hoping they would tail-between-their-legs back this morning, but no chance. I'm still pissed off. Minus 2.
4. But my Polish builder, having fought his girlfriend (long story) may sort out this and several other of my problems tomorrow - but only if it rains. So that's plus 4 - provisional.
5. My broadband went down again (minus 5) but I fixed it all on my anti-techi own, by moving the router upstairs, against expert advice (plus 6)
So I make that a net plus 8 or 12. The afternoon will have to pretty negative to knock out that lead. Surely?
