While I am nostalgic for the hash I'm not smoking, I now realise that what I am craving is the tobacco.
I have never smoked an unspiked cigarette in my life, and don't intend to start now.
I'm not nostalgic for the paranoia; it's the idea of being stoned I miss. I miss not feeling responsible for my own thoughts. In fact, I am nostalgic for feeling irresponsible.

its strange tho because even tho im not smoking i think i will have a bit of hash or weed every now and then, just a side point but is it just me that finds it a bit surreal when directors of companies, solicitors and millionaire investors all sneak off for a joint, i was at a party and every1 was lighting up

I used to know quite a few people who smoked either hash or grass. The numbers dropped as they aged and got families and there are none now. But most of them used some sort of pipe or bong to smoke it neat rather than adulterating it with tobacco. Tobacco is a hideously addictive drug so I'm not surprised you crave it if gave it up, even if that wasn't your main thing.
