Apparently, with the decline in fishstocks and everything, there's no longer easy food for them to get from the coastal sea. so they fly inland a bit to ravage our dustbins.

Apparently, with the decline in fishstocks and everything, there's no longer easy food for them to get from the coastal sea. so they fly inland a bit to ravage our dustbins.
Some of them in Brighton are so well fed they can barely take off...
Lids on all the dustbins in the neighbourhood? No abandoned food wrapping? How likely is that?

I've heard that too, but the ones here on the West coast of Wales seem to be remarkably well fed.
But surely a lid on the dustbin would fix that problem?
