This morning I awoke at a record breaking 3.30 am, never (well, & counting) to sleep again.
I'm more and more convinced that while I sleep I swallow lots of air - and up to now, dust. I've always been a Industrial Strength Sneezer, but here it has become riidiculous.
The carpet I inherited at this place was made of sisal - prickly, moulting and dust producing. Yesterday, I had it lifted to fix creaking floorboards - and the builders left the old underlay, covered in mostly invisible uck.
Today I am having a new carpet laid, 80% wool, and soft, I am praying to the god of Fluff, that I have not become allergic, and by some improbable juncture of events I can begin to breathe through the nose for 8 continuous hours of sleep.
