I was going to write about the former Yugoslavia or smoking in the street or the abdication of Edward V111 or homophobia or... lots of things. But all I can think about is how nice it would be to have pink wild silk curtains in my bedroom, and how expensive they'd be and how long they would take to make and whether it would be worth moving the radiator so the curtains could reach the floor.
