Yes... But also I rather like the surface of slate - the grey-blue, the way light catches it in different ways

//The Man Who Wasn't There//? I was too tired to follow it from the middle... and turned off when she went down on him while he was driving. The car crash broke the erotic charge.
I found myself remembering your female-writer booklist (eg Aniais Nin) and meditating on the subject of female desire-

Do you think female desire differs from that of male?
The reason I ask is because I was talking about this to someone just recently and we both came to the conclusion that women (on the whole) tend to be far more inhibited when it comes to expressing it, as well as sex in general. Just wondered what you think...
P.S Interestingly enough my interlocutor, who happened to be male, suggested that some women are incompetent when it comes to 'handling' a penis which he likened to that of handling of a bomb. 'Not I!' I said, but he didn't seem convinced perhaps he was hoping for a demonstration...haha.-

Lets cut to the chase. I have never come across a woman who touched my penis with incompetence which suggested they were handling a bomb. My sample of women may be unrepresentive or too small.
I'm sure in some ways male and female desire differs. But the //intensity// of desire - my guess is that there is more variation within genders than between them - just like intelligence, for example. There is certainly a variation with age, although I have yet to feel that effect.
Yes women (on the whole) do often feel inhibited about expressing their desires and men less so. But this is much less the case then twenty, forty years ago - which does suggest it's psycho-sociological conditioning, and not inate.
Women are just as highly sexed as men - although members of both genders often appear to be not "sexed' at all.
That's IMHO.
